The problem

A blocked waste pipe had backed up until the sink overflowed across the worktop and down into the units.

What we did

We located the blockage within the waste pipe and cleared it using a flex shaft, removing the build-up that was causing the sink to back up. We then flushed the pipe through and tested it under full flow before giving the affected area a thorough hygienic clean.

The problem

Cooking fat, oil and grease had built up and set hard within the chamber, eventually blocking the flow completely.

What we did

We used high-pressure water jetting to break down the hardened FOG build-up and thoroughly clean the chamber and outlet. Drain dye was then used to confirm that full flow had been restored, followed by a CCTV inspection to check the drainage for any defects or underlying issues. The chamber and surrounding area were left thoroughly clean.

The problem

The toilet wasn't clearing properly and wastewater was coming back up when flushed.

What we did

We used a rigid flexi shaft to navigate around the toilet bend and gain access to the soil pipe. The blockage was promptly cleared and full flow was restored. A dye test was then carried out from the toilet, with green dye passing through to the external chamber, confirming full flow had been restored. The whole area was then thoroughly disinfected.

The problem

A frantic phone call came from a customer after dropping his only set of keys down a roadside gully. With no spare set available and no way of getting home, recovering the keys was an urgent priority.

What we did

We attended as an emergency call-out and used a magnetic retrieval tool to carefully locate and recover the keys from deep within the gully. The keys were successfully retrieved, and the customer was back on his way in no time.

The problem

At a Waitrose supermarket, over 200 metres of channel drainage across the car park had become heavily blocked with built-up silt, mud, leaves and debris. This was causing significant surface-water flooding across the car park and affecting the experience for shoppers.

What we did

We first surveyed and mapped the drainage channels before carefully removing and matching each individual channel guard to ensure correct refitting. The channels were then cleared and high-pressure jetted, with over 50 rubble bags of material removed from site and disposed of correctly. We carried out a full inspection and flow test before reinstating the guards, ensuring the drainage was clear, free-flowing and fully operational.
