Is this instead of a pest controller?
No. We often work alongside pest control companies. They deal with the rats that are already there, while we look at the drainage and help prevent them getting into the property in the first place. This may involve sealing damaged pipes, cracks or other potential entry points.
Can rats really come up through the toilet?
Unfortunately, yes. Rats can enter the drainage system and, in some circumstances, swim up the pipe and come out through the toilet into your home. If there's a route into your property through the drainage system, we can investigate it and recommend ways to prevent access.
